7-8年级
初中课程在小学课程基础上深化拓展，各学习单元围绕具有全球意义、学术严谨且符合课程标准的核心概念展开。本阶段在坚守国家课程与语言能力培养的同时，我们通过对接英国培生爱德思国际课程标准，强化课程体系的国际衔接。文学研读成为中英文高阶课程的核心组成部分，并通过"世界研究"课程引导学生涉猎经济学与心理学基础，为其高年级的学科选择提供认知准备。自七年级起，在视觉艺术领域展现卓越天赋或浓厚兴趣的学生可选择专项艺术培养路径，为未来国际深造铺就专业发展通道。
针对校外转入学生英语基础技能的衔接挑战，我校设有强效衔接课程体系，通过高频的英语习得课程帮助其逐步融入主流教学。
Grades 7 - 8
The Junior High School curriculum extends on the Primary one. Units of study address distinct central ideas, which are globally significant, academically rigorous and standards aligned. At these grades we develop a tighter association to international curriculum through the Pearson Edexcel standards whilst still maintaing a strong connection to the development of national identity and language progress. Literature becomes a key element of our advanced program, both in English and Chinese classes. We introduce the students to international humanities through World Studies, providing students with a background in Economics and Psychology to better help them choose in later grades. Students with a prodigious artistic talent, or a keen interest in Visual Arts have the option of choosing a Art pathway progam from Grade 7, allowing them to pursue their passion on to international study.
Students entering the school from an outside program often find it difficult to “catch up” with the basic skills in English. A strong Bridging Program allows the students access to more classes in English language acquisition allowing them to eventually join mainstream learning.
9-10年级
九至十年级的课程体系明确对接英国培生爱德思国际普通中学教育证书（IGCSE）课程，同时为九年级有意参加中考的学生提供专项支持。在这关键两年，学生根据个人兴趣选择选修科目，学校将依据其前期语言基础进行英语课程分级。学业评估采取双轨制，学生可选择参加国际IGCSE统考或本校内部评估体系。
该阶段核心培养目标包括：
l实现从初中通识教育到国际课程体系的专业过渡，为海外深造奠定学术标准；
l通过专项升学指导课程，系统了解海外大学申请流程及录取要求，建立理性留学认知；
l培养学术诚信意识及自主学习能力，强化研究写作等大学必备学术技能。
衔接课程严格遵循培生IGCSE国际课程标准，确保知识深度与技能培养的连贯性。该课程延续了小学及初中阶段基于英国教育标准构建的国际课程体系，形成贯通式培养路径。
Grades 9 - 10
The two years of Grade 9 and 10 are based more explicitly on the subjects offered through Pearson IGCSE, however support is also given in Grade 9 to students who may wish to sit Zhongkao examination.
In these two years students choose their subjects as electives, and are allocated to English choices based on their background in the earlier years.
Students may opt to gauge their learning through the external IGCSE examinations or through the internal assessment methods of the school.
lA key element in these grades is a relevant transition from middle school generalist learning to the international curriculum requirements and standards for successful further study overseas
lIn grade 9 and 10 students start the counselling sessions, learning about international universities, application processes and standards required. This helps to inform them realistically about future study overseas.
lStudents develop independent study, research and writing habits for their future studie including academic honesty and commitment to independence
The bridging curriculum is based on the Pearson IGCSE international curriculum standards to ensure skills and knowledge are covered to an appropriate depth. This curriculum continues the progression of learning developed through the Primary and Lower Secondary curriculum developed for international studies based on the UK learning standards.
11-12年级
随着学生进入教育的最后阶段，他们将为不同的海外大学申请做准备。OCIS为学生提供符合国际认可的毕业证书与学习科目，来满足留学申请要求。学习重点仍然是获得英语能力认证，这也是成功留学的关键。根据路径的不同，学生的最终成绩和评估将基于外部考试、内部评估，以及其他评价，如论文、项目、课外活动参与、体育等。

Grades 11 - 12
As students enter this final phase of their education, they will have been preparing for a particular pathway of continued education overseas. OCIS offers pathways and subjects for students to complete an accredited graduation to pursue further studies at a variety of overseas institutions. A strong emphasis remains on gaining an English qualification as a key to successful study overseas. Depending on the pathway the students final grades and assessments will be based on external exams, internal assessments and elements such as essays, projects and extra-curricula activities and/or sport.
