This summer, an extraordinary learning revolution swept through the campus of OCIS. The 5-day summer program broke grade-level boundaries, allowing students to collide ideas through mixed-class course selection—deepening skills in the morning and exploring new horizons in the afternoon. With dedicated time and immersive engagement, they discovered the true joy of research.

「火箭科学」的模型冲天而起，「趣味物理」的实验火花四溅，而「人工智能/桌游」教室里，算法与策略正在棋盘上交锋。在「电影制作」小组，有人执镜、有人编剧，「K-POP舞蹈」的课堂上节奏感爆棚，「西餐烹饪」课则将饮食文化和用餐礼仪多元结合。
"Rocket Science" models soared into the sky, "Fun Physics" experiments sparked with excitement, while in the "AI/Board Games" classroom, algorithms and strategies clashed on the board. In the "Filmmaking" group, some directed while others scripted; the "K-POP Dance" class pulsed with rhythm, and "Western Cuisine" lessons blended culinary arts with dining etiquette.

Growth Lessons by Songhua Lake
松花湖边的成长课
「吉林松花湖营地项目」将课堂搬进自然，孩子们学习定向越野，野外生存技能，山地车和皮划艇驾驶，在星空下讨论，在篝火旁训练，真正体会“知行合一”。
The "Songhuahu, Jilin Camp Program" moved the classroom into nature. Children learned orienteering, wilderness survival skills, mountain biking, and kayaking, discussing under the stars and training by the bonfire—truly embodying the philosophy of "unity of knowledge and action."
这个暑期，我们不要填鸭式的灌输，而是点燃探索的火种——当孩子亲手搭建电路，模拟生命器官，计算出发射轨道，拍下人生第一个影片，他们收获的不仅是技能，更是突破舒适圈的勇气、跨学科思考的格局，以及对终身学习的热爱。
This summer, we rejected rote memorization and instead ignited the spark of exploration. As children built circuits, simulated biological systems, calculated launch trajectories, and filmed their first short movies, they gained not just skills, but **the courage to step beyond comfort zones, the vision for interdisciplinary thinking, and a lifelong love for learning.
