戏剧小天地，人生大舞台——OCIS戏剧艺术节展演精彩回顾

仲夏时分，万物欣荣，这是属于孩子们的季节。为了营造浓厚的校园文化艺术氛围，进一步提升学生艺术素养，更好的展现OCIS学生们的青春风采和精神风貌, 6月16日，OCIS一年一度的文艺汇演盛大开幕。

Midsummer, when everything is thriving, is the season for children. To create an artistic vibe, and to further students’ appreciation of the arts, and to better showcase OCIS spirits, a series of performing art shows were offered on June 16th.

本次活动精彩纷呈，包括了英文戏剧和英文歌曲合唱，每一个表演都洋溢着青春与自信，感染着在场的每一位师生，全场酣畅淋漓，这场视听盛宴见证了每一位孩子的闪耀与光芒。

Primary and Secondary Students got on stage to perform English dramas and English song singing. Each performance was full of passion and confidence. The audience was full of excitement, and this audio-visual feast marked the excellence of all students involved. 

紧接着，OCIS小学部的孩子们以班级为单位，带来了5场风格迥异、精彩绝伦的经典戏剧演出，其中包括《白蛇传》、《白雪公主和小矮人》、《僵尸新娘》、《欢乐满人间》、《猫》、《钟楼怪人》等剧目。戏剧中孩子们稚嫩的声音背后是对人物的反复推敲，大段大段的英文台词，表演走位，准确无误；服装道具，精益求精；无论是主角配角，有无台词，所有的孩子们都认真投入，尽情绽放自己！

Then, Primary students brought five classic theatrical performances with different styles and wonderful performances, including Legend of the White Snake, Snow White and the Dwarf, The Corpse Bride, Mary Poppins,Cats the Musical and the Hunchback of Notre Dame. The children used their tender voices to reenact those famous productions, with their understanding of the characters, delivering of lengthy scripts, accurate positioning and meticulous preparation of costumes and props. Everyone was fully immersed in their parts and was the best in playing their roles. 

戏剧的魅力是无与伦比的，能给每一个孩子更多的自信和张力。无论你是善于表现自己的、热爱驾驭文字的、灵感创意信手拈来的，还是动手强、审美好的，都能在戏剧表演里发现自己的广阔天地，在学习中发现自己更多的可能性。

The charm of drama is unique as it bestows confidence and energy. Students with talents in performing, literacy, creativity, hands-on skills, or good aesthetics, can all find the way to showcase themselves through drama production, while unleashing more potentials.

除了扣人心弦、引人入胜的戏剧表演外，来自初高中的孩子们带来了经典英文歌曲演唱，《One Day》、《You Raise Me Up》、《What Makes You Beautiful》、《Never Gonna Give You Up》等歌曲，唱响了年轻人积极向上的人生态度，他们用一曲曲激情洋溢的歌声诠释了青春的活力，用一个个美妙动听的音符抒发了真挚的情感。

In addition to the captivating theatrical performances, Secondary students also brought popular English songs, such as "One Day," "You Rise Me Up," "What Makes You Beautiful," and "Never Gonna Give You Up". Those songs echoed their uplifting attitudes, youthful vitality of youth, and sincere emotions.
